I washed my neti bottle with soap and water a few weeks ago - and I have been having some pressure from the recent heat wave. The bottle had some condensation in the bottle - I washed it with tap and then used purified water + saline packet. Im worried though - would there be any problem with the lingering condensation from the tap if there was any?

Dear Stephanie, For future uses, it is important to rinse the device and let air dry so that there are no droplets or condensation. When cleaning, please follow the instructions on page 5 of the brochure (link below). You should rinse out the device, then clean with purified water and soap, and then rinse with purified water to wash out remaining soapy water. You can also sterilize the bottle at this point by shaking go u the excess water and microwaving for 60-90 seconds. This will be the safest method to avoid any chance of problems. http://www.neilmed.com/pdf/brochure/brochure_usa.pdf
