Would it be safe to use ONE of your NeilMed sinus rinse packets - dissolved in 8 oz of DISTILLED water - as a fleet enema? Most enema solutions are saline - and I have read online that some people use baking soda in their enemas. I have an inflamed rectal fold and thought that a NeilMed sinus rinse packet might work in the rectum as it does in the sinus cavities.

It is an interesting thought. We did get the patent for the various body cavity wash but we never tried this out. I do not think that it will create any harm unless you have serious heart disease or high blood pressure. The sodium chloride in the blue packet is 2.16 grams and should not create any problem for the normal individuals and what I mean is person who does not have any heart or kidney disease.
