My daugther has allergies due to this - she gets cold and severe barking cough and then turns to wheezing in the breathing. Doctor said it is called Croup and prescribed to use Neblizer and oral steriods. We dont want to use steriods and Neblizer very often as might have side effects in long run. My daughter has eczema too - our question is can we use Neid Med product for her to prevent sever cold and cough? Please advice us.

Nasal irrigation is relatively very safe, simple, effective andaffordable. There are reports on use as a preventive treatment butevidence is not as strong. It needs more research to validate. Mypersonal recommendation is to use it daily and see how she does over several months. I would expect improvement in sinonasal symptoms. There are research articles with great authenticity that improving nose and sinuses will improve asthma.
