I had a ruptured left ear drum 6 months ago - due to congestion - it appears to have healed. However now when I use rinse the liquid comes out my left tear duct. What do you make of this? Is it dangerous?

You are probably squeezing the bottle too hard and pushing some solution through the nasal lacrimal duct that connects your eye with the nasal cavity.
