Extra strength nasal mist and Bicarbonate
Hello I am inquiring about NeilMed NasaMist Extra Strength Hypertonic Sterile Saline Nasal Spray. I was curious if this is safe if by chance sniffed up the nose or swallowed during a cleanse. I ask this due to the bicarbonate ingredient in the product. Thank you.
NasaMist® Extra Strength Hypertonic is safe to use. If a small amount accidentally runs to the back of the nose and is swallowed, it does not cause harm.
The product contains saline and sodium bicarbonate, both of which are naturally tolerated by the body and commonly found in everyday foods and digestive fluids. The bicarbonate is included to reduce nasal irritation and improve comfort.
Swallowing a small amount during nasal cleaning is not toxic and does not pose any health risk.
