I purchased the Sinugator nasal machine but is it safe it I use store brand purified drinking water? Also - when I do this - am I supposed to hold my breath while doing this or do I inhale or exhale when squirting it inside my nose? This is my first time using something like this.

Dear Manami,You may use store brand purified drinking water. Please do not hold your breath. You can keep your mouth open and breathe out of your mouth as you do the nasal irrigation. No need to inhale or exhale through your nose while pressing the button. You may also want to gently sniff in after rinsing each side. Please read over the instructional brochure for Sinugator directions before using.
