My household relies on purified rainwater - which is widely recognized as the gold standard for drinking water. Mine is triple-filtered (50 microns - 5 mics - and 3 mics activated charcoal) - then UV-treated before being ready for use. It is as good or better than commercially bottled water. Is there any reason to not use it to prepare the nasal rinse solution?

It is tricky to answer. We suggest to use 0.2 micron filter, FDA says 1 micron and yours is 3 microns. Can you please check and see if it is 0.3 or 3. At 3 micron, you cannot filter the bacteria. UV light will kill the bacteria. I am going to do some more research on this before I say yes. As long as you have maintained the system properly
