What would happen if the distilled water for refrigerated for a long period of time? Is it still safe to use?

If it has not been opened, it should be fine to use. If it has been opened and sitting around for a long time you may want to boil it and let it cool before using it for sinus rinsing. Boiled water should be used in three days (maybe a bit longer if it is refrigerated).
