The NeilMed Sinus Rinse bottle is a positive pressure lavage, where as the NeilMed Neti Pot is a gravity method lavage. The choice is based on the user preference. The Sinus Rinse allows the user to control the amount of pressure and can provide a bit more force than the neti pot, which is controlled by gravity only. Both work effectively.
