Trying sinus irrigation for the first time - using the Sinugator. I currently have a cold - so my sinuses are swollen - but not completely closed. In using the Sinugator - and watching in the mirror - it appeard that the bulk of the of the solution was coming out the nostril I was applying it to - with very little coming out the other side. Am I misusing the device? Or is this common with a stuffy nose? (I feel some congestion relief - even without flusing out my sinuses)

The tip of the irrigation device must fit snugly into the nostril so solution does not drip back on the same side. If the problem still continues, it is possible that the other nasal passage is obstructed due to congestion or anatomic changes. Please make sure to bend forward as shown in the videos and photographs.
