The last 4 days - when using the sinus rinse - I have been experiencing intense pain in the top of my brain - right against the skull - just as the pressure builds up in my nose as I gently squeeze the bottle. Why is this? Upto now - I have been using your sinus rinse successfully for 2 months after experiencing severe ear pain when landing at an airport.

It seems more complex than I can answer without examining. Please make sure that water is not cold. Cold water or improper mixing can lead to sever headache for few seconds to few minutes. Also, tooth infection can lead to symptoms of headache. Please see an ear nose and throat specialist.
