on using my sinus rinse i found that water only flows from one nasal passage and when i do the other side it flows out my mouth WHY? does this mean my sinuses are completely blocked? or am i just using it incorrectly. thanks

If you are tilting your head forward when you perform the rinse and the solution does not come out the other nasal passage, you may have a blocked nasal passage. We recommend you do not rinse if either nasal passage is blocked in order to avoid putting pressure on your eardrums. However, you can rinse with a partially blocked nasal passage. You can use an over the counter nasal decongestant to ease the congestion before performing the rinse.
