This is a very unusual situation and I am wondering if it is related to inflammation in your right nasal passage. Do note that our solution is buffered and even if you have tissue that is inflamed, you shouldn't feel that. Please make sure the solution is stirred properly. It is possible that improperly mixed solution has a higher percentage of water than saline when you start rinsing and by the time you rinse the left side there is more salt in the solution. Too high a concentration of water can create a burning sensation. Out of curiosity, you may want to try rinsing first on the left and prepare the solution the same way and see if the same thing happens to your right nostril. Let us know the results.
