I want to be sure that the process I am using to clean my squeeze bottle is safe and effective? Before each use (I usually use it twice a day) I wash the bottle with dish soap and tap water - then I microwave it for 2 minutes to disinfect it - then I fill with distilled water that I keep in the refrigerator and microwave again to warm the water.

We recommend cleaning the device after each use to disinfect the device right away. You can also shorten your microwave time to 60-90 seconds, unless you have an older low wattage microwave.
