I suffer with chronic sinusitis and recently starting using Neil Med sinus rinse daily. However when I use the rinse all that drains from the other nostril is the rinse itself. I do not see any mucus. Is this because I am so congested and it takes time or should I be seeing mucus draining each time I use the rinse.

If you do not have excessive thick mucus then you will not see any thick mucus coming out but thin extra mucus will wash out along with microscopic allergy particles, bacteria and dust particles, which can create symptoms. So rinsing will still provide a good benefit for you
