I started using the Nelipot before I read the instructions regarding water purity. I live in Norther Wisconsin and the well water has Iron Bacteria in it (Rust colored). I installed A Callgon 4ft tall Carbon filter and softener. I used this tap water without boiling for A week before I read the directions. I now have severe headachs etc.

Most likely, your headache has no relation to the use of tap water. You can follow the directions like I have written. There are other causes for your symptoms and I suggest that if you do not improve, please see your doctor for additional treatment.
