I prepared a boiled - then cooled distilled sinus rinse for my daughter and realized I forgot to put the saline packet in. I understand it will burn since I forgot to condition the water. Is that the only effect it will give? We then prepared a second one WITH the saline but I wanted to be sure using non-saline water would not cause damage.

The only effect from using plain water in the Sinus Rinse is to have aburning sensation. No other harm done.
