I have use the product twice now both times - it seems as though it only works on one side and the other side is just as blocked or more so than before. Any reasons why?

It could be possible that you have a blocked nose, in which case you should not do a sinus rinse as it could put pressure on your eardrums. You can use an over the counter nasal decongestant to ease the congestion in the nasal passage before performing the rinse.
