I have found great success with this product. I was using it once in the morning and once in the evening but was finding that I would get a slight nose bleed when I would blow my nose. Is this a normal response to using the sinus rinse? Should I discontinue using it?

The reason for nose bleeds is secondary to blowing your nose hard or maybe you are taking a concomitant medication such as aspirin, non steroidal anti inflammatory drugs or nasal corticosteroid spray. I do not see any reason to discontinue the Sinus Rinse. I suggest that you obtain a nasal gel which is a sodium hyaluronate 1% gel and will retain enough moisture in your nasal passages and this should avoid any capillary breakdown and oozing of blood when you are blowing your nose. Please contact our office if this does not work out. Also, if you are using a lot of dry heat, try and use a humidifier.
