I have done a nasal irrigation before. This time the water went up but did not go through. It was just blocked completely. I tied extensively and no water would go through at all. Today I woke up and my head is completely stuffed and I feel infected. Why wouldnt the water have gone through????

Either turbinates are very enlarged and congested or you have a nasal polyps. You can try nasal spray decongestants for a day or two and when you feel that it is open, do nasal irrigation at that moment.
