Hi - i just bought your neti pot and used it 3 times this morning! I love it! In order to use it - though - I still had to use my Afrin spray a few hours beforehand to open up my passageways. Should I continue to use Afrin every 12hrs and before the neti pot - if I cannot breathe?Thanks!~ Katy

It is fine to use Afrin before nasal irrigation if your nasal passages are completely blocked. However, it is not recommended to use oxymetazoline sprays for longer than 3 days. You can try non-medicated nasal sprays to moisten the mucus, such as our Hypertonic NasaMist.
