Doctor - I use low pressure - high volume saline twice a day in a addition to allergy medications with some success but - some days; and I can tell you why; Ill have discharge that is four or five times larger - green to dark brown and some blood. Outside of avoiding allergens as much as is possible - what else can I do?Thanks - John

Did you have a sinus surgery ? If yes, sinus cavities are large and any existing or residual mucus may get washed out and come as a big chunk and this depends on the pressure, volume, speed of irrigation, humidity, concurrent infections or allergies, etc. Let me know.
