As for using a Neti pot and your ears having a popping and clicking sound, the only comment would be that either you have blown your nose very hard or when you keep your head tilted, the solution can sometimes possibly reach near the eustachian tube which is an inside opening of the throat to your ear. Please do not worry, this type of side effect is transient and will disappear very quickly in a matter of a few minutes, few hours or maybe a day.
