I had a blocked nose which cleared with decongestants and nasal rinsing; then facial pain and left ear discomfort - perhaps an infection - which is improving. Rinsing plus determined sniffing up the rinse liquid occasionally removes unpleasant-looking brown green material from the left sinus area. Is there any way to rinse more effectively please?

You can try rinsing with a hypertonic (extra strength) solution, which is double the strength of our isotonic (regular) packets.
