Clean the device with soap and water as mentioned above and shake off the excess water. Now place the bottle - cap and tube in the microwave for 60 to 90 seconds.So I did exactly as you recommend and the tube from the bottle melted. Is it defective. How do I get a replacement?Please help. I love the product.

Dear Duncan,Thank you for your question. Our sterilization protocol has not yet been validated on different high-powered microwaves. However, if you call 1 (877) 477-8633, we will be happy to replace the tube for you.
