I have only used the nasal rinse twice now but both times while it seems to clear out mucous (my nostrils seem clear) - it feels like my sinus cavity becomes swollen (I can feel some pressure and my voice sounds like when I have a cold and my nostrils are clogged). Is this normal or am I doing the rinse incorrectly?

If you are not mixing well, you can get these symptoms. I suggest that you try two packets and see if that makes a difference for you.
