I suffer from sinus infections several times a year. Would I be correct in thinking that using a sinus rinse would help the antibiotics work more effectively (by removing any infected mucus in the sinuses)?

It is possible that you may ot need or will need less antibiotics. I suggest that in your case, you follow the directions perfectly and rinse twice a day for several weeks and then once a day regularly.
