I just did the sinus rinse and got very sharp pains in my right ear - the rinse was even coming out the back of my throat. I heard crackling sounds when I blew my nose - but my ear is still hurting pretty bad. I have cotton in my ear now - but what can I do for the pain?

I am sure that you followed the directions precisely. Squeezing hard can do this. The pain will certainly go away in few hours to few days. If not, please see your regular doctor or and ENT specialist.
