Is it at all normal for the saline solution to come out of the tear ducts? Should I be concerned when it does?

Your tear duct is connected to the nose through the nasolacrimal duct. If you blow your nose too hard after rinsing, it is possible that some solution will come out the tear duct. Saline solution for the eyes is harmless. If you are wearing contact lenses it could possibly affect the lens depending on the contact lens material.
