You can have your son rinse once or twice a day as needed. If he suffers from allergy symptoms, rinsing twice a day will give him maximum relief. If you are just having him rinse when he has a cold, he can rinse whenever necessary to clear the mucus from his nose. Make sure he does not rinse if he has a completely blocked nasal passage as this can put pressure on his eardrums.
