Should these bottles be disinfected. If so how do you disinfect? I have an infection and I am worried that I could reinfect myself. Thank You

There are no independent research studies that indicate that it is necessary to disinfect the Sinus Rinse bottles, but we do encourage you to wash them carefully after each use with warm water and dishwashing liquid or baby shampoo and dry them completely. (See Directions page on our website for complete cleaning directions.)If you do want to disinfect your bottle, you can heat it in the microwave with the cap and tube for 1.5 to 2 minutes.
