Dear Dr. Mehta - I am wondering how much salt is absorbed into my system when I use the NielMed. The problem is that my blood pressure has gone up and it is salt dependant. The problem started about when I started the NielMed. Thank You - I think the NielMed is really wonderful.

The total amount of sodium one may retain after a sinus rinse will be around 60 mgs, or less than the amount in 1 slice of bread. Sinus rinsing would not have contributed to your high blood pressure and having this issue should not prevent you from using the system .
