Can this be used with EDTA to expose and breakup bio-films or resistant bacterial or fungal infections (MarCONS)? Does the Xilitol version have any effect on bio-films?

Xylitol will not break the biofilm to our knowledge. As far as EDTA and nasal irrigation, please consult your doctor. Surfactants have shown to be effective in breaking the biofilms. Due to extremely rare side-effects of temporary loss of sense of smell, the product did not stay too long in the market. There are physicians who do recommend 1-2 drops of baby shampoo in 8oz. of saline solution.
